How Does 1:1 Coaching Compare to Other Solutions?

Fat loss comes from the right nutrition combined with the right activity and exercise as well as accountability to help you stay on track with both.

  • Hiring a personal trainer for 12 sessions: £360-£720.  Most trainers charge £30-£60 plus per hour.  They usually don’t have any nutrition qualifications, so you’re paying only for the expertise with exercise.
  • Hiring a nutritionist for 12 sessions: £1,000. Nutritionists usually chart £100 per session with follow-ups costing £75 per hour)
  • Hiring an accountability coach for 3 months: £600-£900. Most coaches charge £200-£300/month just to help you show up for yourself.

When you consider all three individual specialities, you’re looking at a total investment ranging from £1960 to £2620.

With my 1:1 coaching, you have one person in your corner who possesses all of these skills and qualifications, understands your unique needs, and can deliver results far beyond anything your previous “diets” ever achieved.

I set a goal of losing 12kg in 12 weeks. Now I didn’t quite make that. I lost 10kg which is blooming fantastic when you take account of the 5days I went to Holland in week 6. When I finished with Claire, I was around 96kg (the lightest I have been since before I was 18).

Most frequent questions and answers

This programme is a permanent solution for people who struggle to lose weight and want to be able to keep it off for good.  This is not a diet club where you stay for years.

The approach is very flexible and you get dedicated one to one support from me throughout the 90days.

This is not a complicated diet where there are syns/point system to follow or where you follow advice from leaders who are not qualified in nutrition.

These diets give advice to the masses.

My programme is personalised around your lifestyle, you’ll have your training and nutrition programmed by me which takes into account your starting point and unique energy needs.

You get evidence-based advice from a Level 3 personal trainer and a Level 4 Nutrition Coach.

I get that investments can seem like a scary decision and you want to make sure you’re going to get results.

The only way this won’t work for you is if you ignore my advice.  If you put in the work and listen to the advice you will 100% see results.

This isn’t a bodybuilding programme where you have to work out 6x per week and do hours of cardio.

Most of us don’t have time or don’t want to commit to that level of training with busy work and family commitments.

I work with you and design your programme to suit your lifestyle.  This is important so it’s realistic and sustainable.

For example, I’ve coached some clients where we’ve increased their steps, some who can only train once a week and some who train 2-3x per week.

Fat loss is controlled through nutrition so this is what we focus on as opposed to doing hours of training.

I don’t prescribe diet plans for you to follow.  This isn’t a chicken, rice and broccoli plan!

Losing weight is hard.  So much so, that we need to keep our diet even more varied and interesting when in a calorie deficit.

It should be the opposite of eating boring and bland food.

I advise a balanced diet with a focus on protein and fibre as this is what helps keep you feeling full and preserves muscle mass.

You can still enjoy chocolate, pizza and alcohol so it’s very flexible.

Obviously, this needs to be sensible as losing weight requires us to be in a calorie deficit.
